The Porter
HouseholdWorks on its own, within what you allow
What's new on your PC, who signed it, and whether it matches.
Lists what arrived since the last look (downloads, startup entries, scheduled tasks, services, listening ports, installed programs), checks who signed each one, and flags what needs a look. It only reads: it never blocks or removes anything.
The porter kept the household's gate and knew who came and went.
What's new
Every release0.5.0
A shorter Settings page, and a tour for new hires.
What's new
- A tour. When Manor hires the Porter it offers its tour: what it does, the folders it watches and what it watches, then its page. Open it again any time at
#/tour. - The manor's page frame. The title bar, on and off duty, the theme and Back to Manor are the same as on every agent's page, and Run now is in the title bar.
What changed
- Settings is short. It shows the folders it watches and what it watches. The subfolder depth and the round interval are under Advanced.
- The round interval is now the manor's usual setting. Your old value is kept.
Before you update
- Nothing: it updates itself as usual. Your settings, baselines and acknowledged items are kept.
